Shindong bids farewell to Shimshimtapa, DJ Jung Joon Young takes over

Super Junior has had his last radio broadcast today as DJ Shindong of MBC Shimshimtapa.
For over six years, listeners have been entertained by Shindong's lively Dj-ing and stories and it has come to this day that he has to say goodbye to prepare for his military enlistment and Super Junior comeback activities.
Today, Shindong is given a plaque of appreciation and the whole staff take picture with him. Staff on twitter wrote messages such as, "No tears because until the end, Dong DJ is so funny. Dong DJ thank you for everything." Moreover, KARA's Gyuri appeared as a guest.
Super Junior Shindong is confirmed to enlist in military on November 25.
According to SM Entertainment on November 5, Shindong is going to receive his training for five weeks starting on November 25 at 306 battalion in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggido. He will enlist as an active duty soldier and will be ceasing activities from Super Junior to prepare. Therefore, Shindong won't be attending the succeeding Super Show concert schedules. Read more
